Read More	When William "Bill" Walter Daniel was born on February 26, 1917, in Arkansas, his father, Lewis, was 31 and his mother, Gracie, was 26. He married Sina Faye Teague on July 23, 1938. They had two Sons during their marriage. Bill was in the United States Army from April, 1945 to February, 1947. He trained in Texas and served in Germany during the occupation. He was a member of the US ARMY 2nd Infantry Division and the 661st Tank Destroyer Battalion. He died on March 25, 1994, in Yakima, Washington, at the age of 77, and was buried in Terrace Heights, Washington. Also, just a note of interest, the original family name was Daniel without the s. Jerry's dad added the s to his last name when he joined the Army and there was another William Daniel in his group. His brother Charley Franklin Daniels also add the s to his name but I don't know why. As far as I know, the rest of the Daniel children kept their original surname.
