Description	:	Willie Henry Moeller (1880 - 1973) Willie Henry Moeller, son of John C. and Jette Grottmann Moeller, was born Aug. 28, 1880, in Crawford County, Iowa and died Feb. 27, 1973 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Odebolt, Ia. at the age of 92 years. five months and 30 days. Mr. Moeller was born and raised on a farm and attended rural schools and Denison Business College. Read More	Willie Henry Moeller (1880 - 1973) Willie Henry Moeller, son of John C. and Jette Grottmann Moeller, was born Aug. 28, 1880, in Crawford County, Iowa and died Feb. 27, 1973 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Odebolt, Ia. at the age of 92 years. five months and 30 days. Mr. Moeller was born and raised on a farm and attended rural schools and Denison Business College. On March 10, 1910 he was united in marriage to Minnie Kastner of Holstein, at the home of the bride's parents. To this union three sons were born. They made their home on a farm near Schleswig, where he lived until his health failed. The past four years he had been a patient at the Colonial Manor Nursing home at Odebolt. He was a very industrious and successful farmer and made headlines in cattle feeding in this area. He was a pioneer cattle feeder and was honored by the Chamber of Commerce of Omaha and was given an award for having been a stockman-shipper to the Omaha markets for over 50 years. Mr. Moeller's sons will always remember him as a very loving and devoted father and family man. He was very highly respected by all who knew him. Survivors include his three sons Byron of Loveland, Colo., and Alvin and Carl of Kiron, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother John D. of Schleswig and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Minnie in 1950, two brothers, Arnold and August and two half brothers, Robert and Oscar and a sister Doris. Funeral services were held March 2, 1973 at 2 p. m. at the First Baptist church in Kiron with the Rev. Lee R. Giddings, officiating. Mrs. Fern Wilson was organist. A duet was sung by Bueal Hedstrom and Lewellyn Larson, "I Want to See My Savior First of All" and "In the Garden." Interment was made in Morgan Township Cemetery at Schleswig with the following serving as pallbearers Leonard Hollander, Allen Jorgensen, Charles Noll, Ludwig Rathje, Ralph Schultz and Bruce Skarin.
