Mr. Cooper was born November 13, 1937 in Georgetown, S.C. to the late Willie Leo Cooper and Martha Ann Johnson Cooper. He retired from Greenwood Packing Company and also worked many years at Covil Insulation Corporation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved gardening. Mr. Cooper was born November 13, 1937 in Georgetown, S.C. to the late Willie Leo Cooper and Martha Ann Johnson Cooper. He retired from Greenwood Packing Company and also worked many years at Covil Insulation Corporation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved gardening. Mr. Cooper was a fan of NASCAR and the Clemson Tigers. He was a compassionate, caring, and faithful man. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Willie Cooper and wife Angie; a daughter, Jennifer Cooper-Reynolds and husband Scott; a brother, Bernice Cooper and wife Julia; two sisters, Lois Cumbie and husband Sonny, and Shirley Newton and husband Rev. Ronnie; six grandchildren, Christin Cooper, Madison Reynolds, Cody Carpenter, Kayla Reynolds, Hayden Reynolds, and Taylor McDormott; great-grandchild, Hannah-Faith Cooper; and his beloved dog, Walker. He was predeceased by a brother, Carthell Cooper. Visitation was from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Graveside services, with Military Honors, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Newton and Rev. Norman Black. Memorials may be made to the Loranza Cooper Fund, 1218 N. Main Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. Fletcher Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. --- Note: Loranza lived at Fountain Inn which straddles the Greenville-Laurens County line. His obituary does not specify the place of his death.
