Read More	Willie Mae "Sunshine" (Toms) Tedder Obituary ELLENBORO - Mrs. Willie Mae Toms "Sunshine" Tedder, 86, of Ellenboro, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Sunshine graduated from Gardner-Webb College and the North Carolina Baptist School of Nursing. She later graduated from Appalachian University and was the librarian at Ellenboro School. She was an active and faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church and was involved in many programs and service works. She served as WMU director for many years and taught the Sunshine Sunday School Class for over 40 years. She was a former 4-H leader, a member of the Ellenboro Women's Club, the North Carolina Extension Department Homemakers Club, and the Business Women's Circle. She had many other interests and enjoyed her family, flowers, gardening, reading, sewing and her many friends. She truly was the sunshine in so many lives. She was the daughter of the late Will and Mae Calton Toms, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Tedder Arndt. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Wilkes Tedder, Sr., her daughters, Mary Evelyn Tedder, Amy Tedder Williams and son in law Jerry, and son John Wilkes Tedder Jr and his wife Gail. Grandchildren are Caroline Arndt Livingood and her husband Todd, Alex Arndt, Andrew Arndt, Mary Catherine Williams and Mark Williams. Great granddaughters are Sara Elizabeth Livingood and Anna Catherine Livingood. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 30, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. David Easler and Dr. Ron Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 11 AM Monday at the church.
