Young, the son of Edgar & Clara Amelia (Beers) Young, was born in audubon Co., Iowa on Dec. 10, 1892. On August 19, 1917, Willis married Ruby Ruth Luke, dau of (she her page - includes her birth). Besides farming, Willis' business interests included the audubon auction Co., and Anita Auction Co. He served as a realtor for 27 years, and was a member of the West Central Iowa Board of Realtors. Willis wasactive in civic affairs, and was an enthusiastic promoter of the Exira 4th of July celebrations. He was a Charter Member of the American Legion Ballou Post 332.
