Description	:	The funeral for Wilma Mavis, 91, of Leeds was held at the Lebanon Free Lutheran Church in Leeds. Interment was in the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery. She died June 9, 2004 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby. The Nelson Funeral Home of Leeds was in charge of arrangements. Wilma Jaunita Morstad was born at Leeds Sept. 3, 1912 to Olaf and Mollie Leet Morstad. she was reared and attended school at Leeds, graduating from Leeds High School in 1930. She married J.M. Leonard Anderson March 16, 1933 at Leeds. Following their marriage they farmed near Leeds, retiring in 1965, when they moved into Leeds. He died in March of 1979. She married Delos Mavis in March of 1980 and they continued to live in Leeds. He died Oct. 5, 1999. She was a member of the Lebanon Free Lutheran Church of Leeds, and was active in community affairs and enjoyed music. Survivors include a son, Wesley Anderson of Cleburne, Tex.; a daughter, Jean (Guy) Wyman of Smyrna, Tenn.; a stepson, Gary Mavis of Redwood City, Calif.; four stepdaughters, Jewel (Richard) Anderson of Leeds, Karen Loghry of Casper, Wyo., Sandra (Ted) Nelson of Fremont, Calif. and Marti Mavis of Los Gatos, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and a daughter, Sandra Stevens.
