Wilma received her education in Monroe County north of Albia and after the family moved to Oskaloosa, she completed her education at Oskaloosa High School graduating in 1952. During high school, Wilma began working for Western Electric and remained there until a friend asked her to relocate to Des Moines together. After moving, Wilma was rehired by Western Electric in Des Moines where she continued her employment until she met and was united in marriage to Donald LeRoy Stuva on January 14, 1954 at the Des Moines Christian Church. Don and Wilma soon started their family living in Des Moines while Don was working for the fire department. In 1970, Don, Wilma and their family moved to a small farm near Osceola where they lived until 1985 at which time they moved into Osceola. In later years, Wilma worked at Clarke Community Schools doing volunteer work and eventually was hired to handle all of the printing for the schools. She remained at Clarke for over 20 years and retired in 1999. Wilma enjoyed her flowers and gardening in her spare time and also loved watching birds. She was an avid walker but her main focus and source of enjoyment came from her family. Those relatives who preceded Wilma in death were her father, Lloyd Cook, mother, Lola Cook, son, Jimmy LeRoy Stuva, sister, Dorothy Cook, sister, Marguerite Shenafield, brother, Nelson Cook. Wilma leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Donald LeRoy Stuva of Osceola, IA, son, Brian (Belinda) Stuva of Osceola, IA, daughter, Diane (Ralph) Miller of Murray, IA, son, Rev. Matthew L.
