Description	:	GAS, Kan. - Wilma Marie Shinn, 84, died Friday, June 6, 2008 in Iola, Kan. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel with the Rev. Rob Francis officiating. Burial will follow in the Turkey Creek Cemetery north of Uniontown. Mrs. Shinn was born Oct. 11, 1923, in Bronson, the daughter of Edward Eastwood and Marie Jackson Eastwood. She married Danny Shinn on May 14, 1947, in Bronson. Wilma graduated from the Bronson High School and also from cosmetology school in Kansas City. Mrs. Shinn was born Oct. 11, 1923, in Bronson, the daughter of Edward Eastwood and Marie Jackson Eastwood. She married Danny Shinn on May 14, 1947, in Bronson. Wilma graduated from the Bronson High School and also from cosmetology school in Kansas City. Mr. and Mrs. Shinn made their home in Stinnett, Texas, for many years prior to returning to Kansas in 1986. She enjoyed sewing. Wilma was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Iola. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband; a son, Orval Shinn and wife Jane of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Dana Eudey and husband Jerrell of Tulia, Texas, and Lorrain Cook of Yuma, Ariz.; two brothers, Wilbur Eastwood and wife Marilyn of Centerville and Dee Eastwood and wife Erma of Bronson; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Lewy Body Dementia Association and may be left in care of the funeral home, 501 E. Pine, P.O. Box 93, Bronson, KN 66716. Amarillo Globe-News, June 10, 2008
