Description	:	Wilma M. Wilson, 94, of Hillsboro died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua. Born March 5, 1917, in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Dale and Nina Moxley Eyler. On Sept. 17, 1938, she married Dale Wilson in Truro. Mrs. Wilson worked 42 years at Hillsboro Post Office and was postmaster from 1972 to her 1982 retirement. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1934. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, Bonaparte Chapter of P.E.O., and T.T.T. She was a charter member of Hillsboro Alpha Club. She wrote... Read More	Wilma M. Wilson, 94, of Hillsboro died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua. Born March 5, 1917, in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Dale and Nina Moxley Eyler. On Sept. 17, 1938, she married Dale Wilson in Truro. Mrs. Wilson worked 42 years at Hillsboro Post Office and was postmaster from 1972 to her 1982 retirement. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1934. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, Bonaparte Chapter of P.E.O., and T.T.T. She was a charter member of Hillsboro Alpha Club. She wrote the local happenings for the Burlington Hawk Eye. Survivors include one granddaughter, Becky Burk of Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, her parents and her stepmother. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, where family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Wilson will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hillsboro Baptist Church, with the Rev. Duane LaCock officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery. Memorials have been established for Hillsboro Library and Hillsboro Fire Department.
