He worked as a farmer. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: David Wathen, Larry Wathen, Donald Wathen, Randy Wathen, Mike Wathen, John Wathen, Louis Herbert, Jr. and Tommy Herbert. Honorary Pallbearers were all his grandchildren and Mark Howe and Bill Howe. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
