Description	:	Winifred A. Meyer-Jespersen, age 84, of Oxford, Ohio and a former long time resident of Brookville, Indiana died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Knolls of Oxford in Oxford, Ohio. Born April 29, 1930 in Brookville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ralph & Winifred (Loper) Gassman. On November 8, 1951 she was united in marriage to Harold K. “Hez” Meyer and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2005. She later married Donald E. Jespersen, and he survives. Meyer-Jespersen, age 84, of Oxford, Ohio and a former long time resident of Brookville, Indiana died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Knolls of Oxford in Oxford, Ohio. Born April 29, 1930 in Brookville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ralph & Winifred (Loper) Gassman. On November 8, 1951 she was united in marriage to Harold K. “Hez” Meyer and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2005. She later married Donald E. Jespersen, and he survives. Winnie was retired from the Brookville Public Library where she had worked for over 38 years as a librarian. She received the Brookville Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement award upon her retirement for her years of dedication to the Library and the community. Besides her loving husband Donald, survivors include two sons, Harold Rene Meyer and Richard Todd Meyer both of Brookville, Indiana; four grandchildren, Jared, Tiffany, Krista, and Kenneth Meyer; as well as a great-granddaughter, Trinity. In addition to her parents and 1st husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Holmes & June Stalker, and two brothers, Johnny Gassman and Bill Gassman. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Brookville. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Brookville Public Library.
