L. and Eliza Edmondson, was born Feb. 22, 1884, in Louisa County, and departed this life on Feb. 8, at the age of 68 years, 11 months. and 8 days. She was brought to Decatur County when an infant and lived, most of her life in or near Lamoni. She was married to John M. EVANS Winnifred Edmondson, daughter of W. L. and Eliza Edmondson, was born Feb. 22, 1884, in Louisa County, and departed this life on Feb. 8, at the age of 68 years, 11 months. and 8 days. She was brought to Decatur County when an infant and lived, most of her life in or near Lamoni. She was married to John M. Evans, Feb. 20, 1904, and to this happy union were born two children, Rex F., of Lamoni, and Mrs. Don Noftager, of Forrest City. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 24, 1930, and since then had devoted herself to her children. Among the many who mourn her passing are the son and daughter, a dear little granddaughter, Vicki Ann Evans, and her sister, Mrs. Bert Whitson, of Kellerton, in whose love and care she spent the last days of her life. Both of these young people are well and favorably known throughout the west side of the county, being among the most popular young people of that section.They will make their home on the IRVIN GORE farm near Davis City, and a host of friends extend hearty congratulations and wish them much joy and happiness.
