Read More	Holyoke Enterprise Transcribed by Carol Moore November 5, 1970 Holyoke, Colorado WINNIE GLADYS (HALL) EVANS RITES MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2 Funeral services were held Monday November 2, 1970, from the United Methodist Church, Holyoke, for Winnie Gladys Evans, 74, who passed away Friday, October 30, 1970, at Melissa Memorial Hospital, following a cerebral hemorrhage. Services were conducted by Rev. Gordon Benesh. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park. Winnie Gladys Hall was born to Albert S. and Frances Cassen Hall on January 16, 1896, at Lansing, Colorado. She spent her youth near Armel. She was united in marriage to James William Evans on February 9, 1916 at Armel then moved to Norborne, Missouri. To this union two children were born. In 1927 they moved to Holyoke where they operated a dairy, cafe and poultry processing plant over the years. Her hobbies were cake decorating, floral arranging and gardening. She became a member of the Methodist church as a young girl in Armel and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Holyoke at the time of her death. She was an active member of many organizations which included the BPW, WSCS, Ladies circle, Historical society, a bowling group and many others. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 16, 1969, and her parents. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Izora) Dolezal, Julesburg, and Mrs. B. Frank (Christina) Adams, San Francisco, California; two brothers, Lawrence Hall, La Porte, Merle Hall, Newberg, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Alberta Browning, Tigard, Oregon; five grandchildren, Ray Adams, San Francisco, California, Bride Adams, with the Air Force in London, England, Benita Adams, Martinez, California, Sue Dolezal, Denver, Craig Dolezal, Fort Collins and many other relatives and friends. Attending the services from out of town were Mrs. and Mrs. Howard Browning, Tigard, Oregon, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hall, La Porte, Don Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Hall and Mrs. Willard Keffler, Fort Collins, Sue Dolezal, Denver, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Abraham, St. Francis, Kansas, Mrs. Ethel Steele, Mr. and Mrs. Smith Gregg, and Mrs. Bessie Henks, Norborne, Missouri, Smith I Gregg, Carollton, Missouri, Alvin Cassens, Dodge City, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Caleb Eckberg, Wray, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Meusborn, Steve and Rocky, Joes.
