Description	:	Yvonne Mary Gambaiani, 87, of Waverly, died Wednesday, July 16, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community. She was born Aug. 15, 1920, in Waverly, daughter of Leo and Edna Seamon Ultch. She married John Gambaiani on Oct. 27, 1940, in the parsonage of Trinity United Methodist Church, Waverly. He died May 24, 2008. Mrs. Gambaiani graduated from Waverly High School in 1937, where she received her Normal Teaching Degree. She taught country school for the next two years at Washington No. 10 west of Waverly. She married John Gambaiani on Oct. 27, 1940, in the parsonage of Trinity United Methodist Church, Waverly. He died May 24, 2008. Mrs. Gambaiani graduated from Waverly High School in 1937, where she received her Normal Teaching Degree. She taught country school for the next two years at Washington No. 10 west of Waverly. During the summer months, she also worked at the Marshall Canning Co., Waverly. She and her husband farmed north of Waverly, and later she worked in the kitchen at the Waverly Sale Barn during the horse sales. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Waverly. Survived by: a son, Richard (Janet) of Waverly; a daughter, Shirley (Jim) McKenzie of Waverly; four grandchildren; and a sister, Melva (Edgar) Blasberg of Waverly. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Chapel at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Home, with burial in Harlington Cemetery, both in Waverly. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, and for an hour before services Monday at the Good Shepherd Chapel. Memorials: may be directed to the family for a later designation. Condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com.
