Description	:	Zella Renee Davis, 66, of 1229 N. Adams, died March 12, 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. She was born July 22, 1946 in Ottumwa to John and Zella Smith Bussing. She married Ronald Davis on May 8, 1971. A 1964 graduate of Ottumwa High School, she had attended Indian Hills Community College. Renee worked for 35 years at Ottumwa City Hall. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church where she had taught Sunday school. Surviving is her husband, Ronald; her mother,Zella Bussing of Ottumwa; and many cousins. She was born July 22, 1946 in Ottumwa to John and Zella Smith Bussing. She married Ronald Davis on May 8, 1971. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church where she had taught Sunday school. Surviving is her husband, Ronald; her mother,Zella Bussing of Ottumwa; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Conrad Francis Bussing; her father, John Bussing; grandparents, Zella F. and Elmer D. Smith, William and Margaret Bussing. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. James Altmaier officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum. Visitation begins at 11 am Friday with the family present from 6-7:30 pm Friday. Memorials may be made to Plymouth Congregational Church or The Weiner Translational Research Laboratory, Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Iowa City, IA.
