Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma Leota King, 36, wife of Floyd King, McComb, were conducted in the Harmon Funeral Home, McComb, last Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. King, who had been ill two years and in critical condition for the past six months, died of cancer. She expired in St. Vincent's Hospital, Toledo, December 1. She was born December 12, 1912, in Blanchard Township, the daughter of Myron and Mary (Cooper) Mapes. She was married to Mr. King on June 29, 1927. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother who lives in McComb; three children, Mrs. Gerald Starett, McComb, Floyd King, Jr., of McComb, and Myron Sylvester King, at home. There is one grandchild. Other survivors include brothers and sisters, Oscar Mapes, Midland, Michigan; Mrs. L.O. Shelly, Maumee; Elmer Mapes, Weston; Mrs. Leland Walen, Shelby; Mrs. William Schufelt, McComb, and Guy Mapes, McComb. A sister died in infancy. Mrs. King attended the Pleasant Hill Evangelical United Brethren Church. The Rev. C. E. Jeffers, the pastor of the McComb Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in McComb Cemetery.
