Cemetery. Born November 8, 1879; died on March 29, 1916. Aged 36 years, 4 months and 21 days. Mrs. J. E. Garrison Dead. Mrs. Zeta Muldrow Garrison, 36 years old, wife of J. E. Gar rison, passed away last Wednesday morning at her home in this city, after a ten days illness of pleuro-pneumonia. She had been in poor health for some months and although her condition was regarded as serious, her death was unexpected and a great shock to her family and friends. She leaves her husband, a baby son 7 months old, her mother, Mrs. Belle Muldrow, two brothers, Forest and Milton Muldrow, both of Shelbyville; three sisters, Mrs. W. Salem Brown of Kennett, Mo., and Misses Grundy and Nell Muldrow, who are teaching school in Utah. Funeral services were held from the home Friday morning, conducted by the Rev. J. A. Mumpower, pastor of Shelbyville Methodist church, of which Mrs. Garrison was a member. Interment took place in Shelbyville I. O. O. F. cemetery. Six of her sisters in P. E. 0. acted as pallbearers. With the passing of Mrs. Garrison one of the ideally happy homes in Shelbyville is broken up. She was a beautiful character, modest, unassuming, a devoted wife and an equally devoted daughter and mother. She has been cut off in the prime of a useful life and all Shelbyville is the poorer for her going. To the bereaved family the tenderest sympathy of the community goes out.
