EARLING ~~ Richard and Zita Bruck of Earling observed their 50th wedding anniversary on February 12. They were honored at a celebration dinner at a Manning restaurant on February 23. The dinner was hosted by their children. The couple has nine children: Rick and Barbara Bruck, Manilla; Margaret Obrecht, Harlan, and her fiance, Marlin Petersen, Redline; Rose and Quinten Christensen, Earling; Wayne Bruck, Denison, and friend, Linda Bentzen, Harlan; Marilyn and Dan Martin, Harlan; Randy and Katy Bruck, Harlan; Steve and Candie Bruck, Harlan; Eric and Patti Bruck, Storm Lake; and Cheryl Petsche, Harlan, and friend, Terry Koppold, Harlan. The Brucks have 19 grandchildren, one deceased granddaughter, two step~grandchildren, and two great~grandchildren.
