Description	:	Mrs. Zoe (Vincent) Lepper was one of six daugters (sic) born to Bart and Mary Vincent. She was born December 13, 1880 in Ripley, Ill. She was married to A.J. Lepper in St. Joseph, Mo., on August 8, 1908. To this union one son was born, Mr. Bart Lepper, now deceased. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, transfering (sic) to the Nelson congregation in 1927, during the pastorate of Rev. V.R. Beebe. She taught church school for many years, was active in the Woman's Society of Christian Service, and gave a consistent Christian witness... Read More	Mrs. Zoe (Vincent) Lepper was one of six daugters (sic) born to Bart and Mary Vincent. She was born December 13, 1880 in Ripley, Ill. She was married to A.J. Lepper in St. Joseph, Mo., on August 8, 1908. To this union one son was born, Mr. Bart Lepper, now deceased. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, transfering (sic) to the Nelson congregation in 1927, during the pastorate of Rev. V.R. Beebe. She taught church school for many years, was active in the Woman's Society of Christian Service, and gave a consistent Christian witness in her word and life. For over 50 years she was a member of the order of Eastern Star. Surviving are her husband, Mr. Bert Lepper of Nelson, Nebraska; Mrs. Bart Lepper and Miss Judy Lepper of Vallejo, Calif., and John (sic) Lepper, a student at the University of Nebraska, a sister, Mrs. A.C. Bosserman of Lincoln, a step-daughter, Mrs. Nedra Driscoll of Phoenix, Ariz., several nieces and nephews. Several of the Lepper families were in attendance at the funeral. Mrs. Lepper passed away on November 21, 1967, and funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church in Nelson on Friday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Maurice C. Holt officiating. Casket bearers were Oscar Doggett, Jake Chapman, Harry Shaw, Louis Petz, Gordon Sheets and Virgil Stowers. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery with arrangements by the Klawitter Funeral Home of Nelson. Those who came from out of town to attend the funeral of Mrs. A.J. Lepper last Friday included Mrs. Margaret Lepper, Jon and Judy of Vallejo, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bosseman and daughter of Lincoln, Mrs. Neda Driscoll and family of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Driscoll and family of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Minor Baird of Superior, Mr. and Mrs. Lepper of McCook, Mrs. Mary Koetter and her mother of McCook, Mr. Harlan Portwood of Davenport, Ia., and Mrs. Vivian Wood, Mrs. Clarice Rowe, and Mrs. Florence Portwood all of Davenport, Nebraska.
