| Description | : | Beaver Cemetery, also known as Old Beaver Creek Cemetery is located in Section 2, Township 14 North, Range 24 East approximately six miles south of Stilwell in Adair County, Oklahoma. On October 26, 1937, Works Progress Administration field workers, Gus Hummingbird and W.J.B. Bigby surveyed the cemetery. They wrote that Old Creek Beaver established the cemetery in 1839, following the arrival of the Cherokees to the West on the Trail of Tears.
