| Description | : | Goshen Preparative Meeting was established ca. 1702. In 1827, after the Hicksite separation in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, the meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches, which established its own meeting house and cemetery to the south of the old meeting. The present-day meeting house was built in 1855. In 1956, the Hicksite Goshen Monthly Meeting merged with the former Orthodox Goshen Monthly Meeting to form the present-day Goshen Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends which is in use today.
