Description	:	Hamilton Burying Grounds were next to the James Hamilton house. Thomas Hamilton & other Hamiltons owned a large tract of land in Eastern Tolland. Thomas and many other Hamiltons were buried here. 1763 Thomas Hamilton is earliest marker. This cemetery was visited by Benjamin Jones of Granville in 1916. He listed 12 graves, but it was reported to him that the cemetery had 75 graves. The stones had been moved (where??) and the cemetery was in total ruins by 1938.
