Description	:	This very early cemetery seems to have served two religious congregations, that of the Anglican church located on lot 84 and a Methodist congregation, whose church was located on lot 35 in the hamlet of Holmesville. Very few records exist now. St. Georges's Anglican church in Goderich has a very few and St. Paul's in Clinton has a few. There also seems to have been two cairns- at different times. From a clipping we discovered a fieldstone cairn had been in place at one time but due to deterioration was replaced by a second one. At the final cleanup in 1963 when permission was given to erect this last cairn, relatives of some of those buried there had their stones removed an perhaps placed elsewhere.
