Description	:	The Hoye Family Cemetery at Crab Tree Bottom is located on Sang Run Road in a farm field across from the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren and near Crabtree Bottom Road, McHenry, Maryland 21541. A natural-shaped gray stone, seven feet high, memorial stands on a concrete foundation just above the grave of William Waller Hoye (1768-1836), who settled at “Crab Tree Bottom” in 1799. The memorial stone was dedicated on September 21, 1930, by Hoye descendants to commemorate their ancestors buried there.
