Description	:	The wooden Church of Christ the King in Maciejów (formerly Matzdorf) is one of the oldest structures of its kind in the region. It was originally constructed in 1446 using a donation from the imperial notary Nicolaus von Frankenstein. In 1532 it was taken over by the Protestants. It was renovated and enlarged in 1696, with the addition of a barque altar and fittings. The steeple collapsed in 1850 and was not rebuilt. The church is surrounded by a small graveyard which is still used by the local community.
