| Description | : | Historically referred to the "Milquatay graveyard" in 1880 on the death and burial of young William McCain, son of George W. McCain, who settled at what became McCain Valley. Milquatay Pioneer Cemetery was originally a family burying ground started about 1868 on private ranch land, and it was active from the late 1860s to the late 1890s. Following that, it fell into disrepair, having undergone severe damage and vandalism including broken and stolen headstones.
