The last interment was in approximately 1932. Abandoned long ago, the cemetery is now located completely surrounded by private property hidden in the woods in Fitzpatrick (Bullock County) Alabama. There are no roads or trails leading to the location. The Hopewell United Methodist Church in Shopton still owns the land and a deeded easement to access the cemetery but access is difficult. It requires climbing fences and walking long distances.
