Description : On September 14, 1966 the first known survey of this cemetery was done by Dr. Allan E. Marble. Per his usual custom, he did not give the cemetery a name but assigned it an identifying number, in this case 11, and a location, Belleisle. At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble’s survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb and, at that time, the volunteers named it “Pioneer Cemetery” and cited the location as Belleisle.
