Per his usual custom, he did not give the cemetery a name but assigned it an identifying number, in this case 12, and a location, Bellisle*. At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble’s survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb and, at that time, the volunteers named it “Troop Cemetery” and cited the location as Bellisle*. *Both Dr. Marble and the Genweb volunteers spelled the location incorrectly.
