Description : Not a lot could be found regarding this burial ground. A church register for burials at Scots Burial Ground/St Andrews Scots Church has been microfilmed between 30 Oct 1933 & 7 Jan 1846. The foundation stone for the original Scots Church was laid in July 1824, opening on 16 July 1826. It was the first Presbyterian church erected in the city, founded by John Dunmore Lang who had arrived in the colony in 1823. It was demolised in 1926 and a new building erected in 1929. It was redeveloped into an apartment building in 2005.
