Description	:	Just outside Vinninga is Sävare Church, one of the 12 central churches that the court architect Emil Viktor Langlet (1824-98) designed in his time. The church, which was inaugurated in 1884, is located on the same site as the old medieval church once stood. The church, which was inaugurated in 1884, is located on the same site as the old medieval church once stood. The idea Langlet had with the hexagonal shape was that the church would become more equal, that the congregation could get closer to the priest. Langlet designed and had another 4 central churches built here in Västergötland; Beateberg (1881), Tranemo (1882), Håle- Täng (1883) and Erska (1886). More famous are Caroli Church and Pauli Church in Malmö. You are welcomed by a warm yellow façade with red bricks as you approach the church. It is adorned with arched windows and beautiful ornaments, Romanesque portals, rosette windows and round arch friezes. The large round windows, one for each latitude, give the church a special light inside and because the church room is so high sheep you have a feeling of being in a powerful lantern with both radiating and radiating light. From the organ stand, further stands extend all the way to the altar choir. The church's almost round shape gives you an embracing and close feeling, even though it holds over 300 people. The oldest preserved fixtures are lily stones from the 12th century and two carved sand crosses of sandstone from the 13th century . The baptismal font is a well-made copy of the baptismal font made by the medieval stonemason Oltheric in the 12th century, the original is unfortunately in pieces and stored at Västergötland's museum in Skara. The altarpiece is from 1884, the same year the church was inaugurated. It disguises a cross in front of a background of clouds. There are some question marks around who painted it, possibly partly by a painter's companion and AW Berg, but some details are painted by the famous church painter KJ R Johansson. Österberg studios in Varnhem and the beautiful choir mat 'Här en källa rinner' is composed by Kerstin Persson and made at Tre Bäckar in Varnhem. It was donated by Sävare Kyrkliga Kvällssyförening 1980. In front of the church there is a hatch, cemetery gate, from 1928 and when you open the cemetery gates from 1909 and continue towards the church you pass the area where the medieval church was located. There are four church bells, two in the church tower and two in the belfry above the hatch. The two bells in the church tower are from 1727 and 1733, respectively, and were previously placed in the old church, which was demolished in 1883. The bells in the belfry were cast by M & O Olsson's Bell Foundry in Ystad in 1928.
