Description	:	From Oil City go north on Rt. 8 to Cherrytree Village. At the intersection of SR 417, turn left and go approx. 2/10 mile to Tarr Rd. Turn right on Tarr Rd. and go approx. 8/10 mile to a sharp bend to the left. There is a field on the right and an old road along the field. This farm was originally settled by George Tarr (1766-1845) who came from Eastern PA about 1800 and was in the Tarr family for three generations. It was then sold to Alpheus Kellogg (1850-1930)(ALW48).
