Description : Opened in October 1929, East Warriston House was converted into Warriston Crematorium. The crematorium was then extended to the west in 1967. There are areas of remembrance, the oldest being oak panelled rooms in the basement. In the rose garden there are memorial planters on which can be placed granite memorials can be placed. These are leased for 10 years and can be renewed after this time. The WW2 memorial panels are located at the end of the columbarium, situated at the back of the main building, commemorating 145 servicemen and women who were cremated at Warriston.
