Description : The Wolf Burying Ground has long since disappeared. It was located on a small ridge located just east of the Murray Road and north of US Route 35. The history is, that Jacob Wolf was buried here under a very large wild cherry tree. The only stone that remains is that of Cynthia McWhinney, wife of John. Her stone, although broken, has been preserved by a neighbor, and is being well taken care of.
