Read More	Wife of Abel Lawrence About 42 years Abigail Haydock was the daughter of John and Susanna (Hinshaw) Haydock of Northern Ireland. She married Peter Larrance/Lawrence about 1796 in North Carolina - his first wife. First child, Susanna Lawrence was born 31 Aug 1796. Spiceland Monthly Meeting records in Vol 3 of "Abstracts of the Society of Friends in Indiana" indicate Abigail (Haydock) Larrance may have died about 1815 or 1816 - probably in Randolph County, North Carolina. Her burial place is unknown. Because the family were members of Holly Spring Monthly Meeting, I placed her in their care. The online transcription of Holly Spring(s) Friends Meeting Cemetery shows a stone for an Abigail Lawrence with a date of death as Aug. 22, 1813. Find A Grave Memorial # 69208791, lists her as wife of Able Lawrence but am unable to find any records for Able at Holly Spring MM. Abigail and Peter's last child, Ruth, was born in 1812 in Randolph County, North Carolina and that indicates a 1813 date of death in NC would fit the timeline.
