Description	:	Adelaide Brintha Hagermaster Funeral services for Mrs. Adelaide Stickler, pioneer resident of Villisca, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pitman Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Paul Ellis, pastor of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Stickler died Thursday night following several months of declining health. Singing at the funeral was by Mrs. Icle Fisher, accompanied by Mrs. Quincy Dunn and assisting with the flowers were Thelma Means and Carrie Fisher. Ushers were Lenore Enarson and Alice Watts. Pall bearers were Ted McCoy, Arnold Clausen, Spencer Louis Boetcher, Wade Scholey, and Ward Carpenter, and interment was in the Villisca Cemetery... Adelaide Brintha Stickler, born November 17, 1875 in Villisca, Iowa , was the daughter of Harry H. and Sarah Winter Hagermaster, the second of four children. She spent her entire life in Villisca and was graduated from the Villisca High School in 1895. She was married to Charles Abraham Stickler on July 18, 1899. He preceded her in death in 1953. To them were born two children, Mrs. Roger Bender of Bryan, Ohio and Donald Stickler of Villisca. She was a member of the Methodist Church, of the Order of Eastern Star. During her more than 50 years membership in the Eastern Star, she held many offices, including that of worthy matron. She is survived by the son and daughter, 2 grandchildren. There are also one brother, Charles Hagermaster of Salem, Oregon and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Gooding, Horton, Kansas and Mrs. Frank Blotcky of Omaha, Nebraska.
