Robert Hannemann officiated at the services with burial held in Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. Adeline Albers died Monday, Feb. 10 at the Senior Home, Monticello after a lengthy illness. Adeline Bohren was born December 27, 1901 in Grindelwald, Switzerland, the daughter of Red and Rosina Kaufman Bohren. She immigrated to the United States in 1911 and settled with her parents near Monroe, Wis. Her family later moved to the Coggon, Iowa area. She was educated in the rural schools and worked as a housekeeper. Adeline Bohren and Will Albers were married on June 27,1923 at Peace Lutheran Church in Ryan. The couple moved to Monticello in 1945 where Adeline worked as a nurse's aide at John McDonald Hospital for 14 years and Will was a self-employed carpenter. He preceded her in death August 18, 1981. Adeline lived in the family home until she moved to the Senior Home in 1988. Survivors include two daughters: Rosemarie Anderson of Oak Brook, Ill. and Peggy Johnson of Bloomington, Ind.; two sisters, Frieda Oltmanns of Anamosa and Emily Griffith of Punta Gorda Isle, Fla.; two brothers, Walter Bohren and Leo Bohren both of Central City; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Casketbearers were Chuck Ihlenfeldt, Ken Schmidt, Roger Seaton, Louis Folken, Edward Folken and Scotty Albers.
