Description	:	Adeline L. Marsh was born in Spencer, Massachusetts, January 12, 1840. She spent her childhood days in her native town, and on October 8, 1855, she was marred to Tyler Savage. A short time afterward they moved to Rockford, Illinois, residing in Illinois till 1890, when they removed to Nebraska, where they have since made their home. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Savage, Minnie, who died in 1902, and Bertie (now Mrs. S.S. All) who has been with her mother since March, and tenderly cared for her during her last illness. While Mrs.... Read More	Adeline L. Marsh was born in Spencer, Massachusetts, January 12, 1840. She spent her childhood days in her native town, and on October 8, 1855, she was marred to Tyler Savage. A short time afterward they moved to Rockford, Illinois, residing in Illinois till 1890, when they removed to Nebraska, where they have since made their home. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Savage, Minnie, who died in 1902, and Bertie (now Mrs. S.S. All) who has been with her mother since March, and tenderly cared for her during her last illness. While Mrs. Savage has always been in delicate health, her condition was not considered dangerous until last February. All that loving hands could do has been done to relieve her suffering. Her sickness has been marked by great patience and unselfishness and thoughtfulness for others. She passed quietly away Tuesday, September 11, at 1 o'clock p.m. Though Mrs. Mrs. Savage's health did permit her to mingle with society, she made many true friends who have loved and admired her for her gentle, kind and sympathetic ways. To know her was to love her. Her devotion to and care for her aged mother for many years is but one of the beautiful traits of character which she displayed. She is survived by a loving husband, daughter, brother and an aged mother, besides a host of friends who mourn her loss as their own. The funeral services, conducted at the home by Rev. C.A. Gleason of the Congregational church, were very short, consisting of music, prayer and a few remarks by the pastor, concluding at the grave, where the remains were laid to rest by the side of her daughter, Minnie. W.T. Marsh and wife of Glen Falls, New York, George Jackson of Loveland, Colorado, and Dr. Fox of Clarks were among those present at the funeral services.
