McCabe, who passed away at her home on West Broadway on Monday, December 9th after a lengthy illness. McCabe, who passed away at her home on West Broadway on Monday, December 9th after a lengthy illness. Deceased had bee in poor health for fifteen years and had been seriously for the last three years. Mrs. McCabe who was fifty eight years of age was Adeline Maria Banks before her marriage, and was the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Henry Banks of Amaranth, where she was born and spent the greater part of her life. Mr and Mrs. McCabe came to Orangeville from their farm in Amaranth four years ago. Since coming to town the deceased had been a member of First Avenue Church. Mrs. McCabe was a woman of fine character and a kindly and sympathetic disposition. By her intimate and close friends and neighbours,she was held in warm regard. She was a devoted wife and mother, whose loss will be keenly felt by her husband and youngest son Maurice, who is still living at home. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James Berry, of Melanchthon and three sons, Leonard of Brampton, Lloyd of Stratford, and Maurice of Orangeville. Charles Banks of Oxbow, Sask. is a brother and Mrs. Sarah Vollick of Midland is the only surviving sister. The funeral was held from her late home to Greenwood Cemetery at three o'clock yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. Rev. E.E. McBrien conducting the service, assisted by Rev. W. Mattaw.
