Adeline Mohlman was born March 3 1891 to Russell and Mary (Farr) Parks at Campbell. During her early childhood her family moved to Glenvil. On August 2, 1911 she was united in marriage to Fred J Mohlman. To this union were bom twelve children. In the year 1919 they moved to a farm northeast of Blue Hill and upon retirement moved into Blue Hill which has since been her home. She became a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church through adult confirmation on June 5, 1927, the Rev Herman Goede, pastor. For several years she served as Sunday School superintendent and teacher of the adult Sunday School class. On Saturday March 9, 1963, she passed away at her home having attained the age of 72 years and 6 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husban,d who passed away August 18, 1949, one sister Katie Mohlman and one brother George Parks. Survivors include six daughters Mary Kort and Grace Eischen of Ayr, Margaret Hinrichs of Glenvil, Erma Bell of Terrytown, Nebr., Ruby Stevens of Red Cloud and Ella Mae Keeney of Blue Hill; six sons, John of Ayr, Albert and Wilbur of Harvard, Fred of Fairmont, George and Robert of Chapman. 32 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Tilman Parks of Hastings, and John Parks of Giltner; one sister, Pearle Holtzt of Wilsonville. Music was furnished 'by Becky Lou McSpadden, Sara Peil, Alyce Rae Leetsch, Ann Wonka and Evelyn Bachman, with Mrs Ralph Baird at the organ. Pallbearers were the six sons of the deceased.
