Craig were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of a sister, Mrs. Peter Fitch, and at 2:30 at Park Avenue Christian church, the Rev. G. O. Bell officiating. Interment was in Best cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ben Ackerman, Battle Creek; Lou Ray, Fred Dedderman, Jack McKibbon, Clyde Best, and Samuel Ommerman, Norfolk. Adrian E. Craig was born March 27, 1873, at the old farm home four and one-half miles west of Norfolk. Here he spent his life until about 10 years ago when he came to Norfolk where he had since made his home. The past winter he had made his home with his sister, Mrs. Peter Fitch, to help take care of his aged father who is in his ninety-second year. When about twenty years of age he united with the Christian church during a meeting held in the Best school now known as the Borne school house. Since that time he has been a member of the Christian church. He was married to Anna Okee March 27, 1893, she having passed away Sept. 28, 1894. To them was born one son, Ralph Craig. Later he was married to Frankie Thatch and to them were born two children, Mrs. Agnes Getchel of Chicago and Dewey Craig of Norfolk. Besides these, he is survived by his father, John S. Craig, six grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Peter Fitch of Norfolk, Mrs. J. L. Long of Neligh, and Mrs. D. L. Best of Battle Creek.
