Agnes was born July 20, 1915, in Sioux Falls, SD, the second of six children, to Roy M. and Irene Christine Donahoe. Her childhood was spent in Sioux Falls, where she attended elementary and high school at Cathedral and later, Columbus College. Agnes was born July 20, 1915, in Sioux Falls, SD, the second of six children, to Roy M. and Irene Christine Donahoe. Her childhood was spent in Sioux Falls, where she attended elementary and high school at Cathedral and later, Columbus College. She worked for the Manchester Biscuit Company and then Western Surety until she married Gordon Lee White, on September 1, 1936. They were married for over 69 years until his death in 2006. Soon after being married, they moved to Rapid City, where they were the owners of Hills Brake and Equipment for over 50 years. Agnes was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, reading and needlework, and was a life-long, devout Catholic. Agnes had several special friends throughout her life and always took time to visit those that were alone or sick. Survivors include her daughter, Janet White, Walnut Creek, CA; her son, William (Loran) White, Rapid City; seven grandchildren, Greg White, Allendale, MI, Teresa (Brian) Briggs, Grand Haven, MI, Steve White, Pleasant Hill, CA, Christine White, Denver, CO, Alexander (Lisa) White, Boston, MA, Theodore Donahoe White, New York, and Oliver William White, Rapid City; three great-grandchildren, Corey White, Newaygo, MI, Adam Cherry, Grand Haven, MI, and Noelle White, Hudsonville, MI; three sisters, Marjorie Hurley, Sioux Falls, Shirley Wolfe, Belvedere, IL, and Patty Fokken, Sioux Falls; a brother, Bud (Mary Lou) Donahoe, Sioux Falls; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and her very special friend, Becca Looney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; her sister, Marie Albertus; and her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Therese Catholic Church in Sioux Falls with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Sioux Falls.
