Born in Ramsay Twp a daughter of the late Matthew Robert MacFarlane and Mary Snedden, deceased spent her early life in Ramsay, removing to Almonte some 40 years ago. She made her home with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr and Mrs Malcolm MacFarlane Possessed of a kindly, friendly disposition Miss MacFarlane was most highly and will be greatly missed especially by her circle of older friends. Surviving are three sisters Nellie, Mrs Malcolm MacFarlane, and Katherine Mrs Steen Young, both of Almonte, and Miss Tena MacFarlane of Portsmoth, N.H., U.S.A. Beautiful floral offerings testified to the general esteem in which Miss MacFarlane was held.
