Description	:	Mrs. Agnes Murray Bobo died last night, March 22, 1904, at her home on Oak Street, Nevada. She had been in failing health for many months, severely ill for six weeks and the end had seemed close at hand for several days. Agnes Murray was born in Ireland, August 22, 1836, and came with her parents to America when she was twelve years old. Read More	Mrs. Agnes Murray Bobo died last night, March 22, 1904, at her home on Oak Street, Nevada. She had been in failing health for many months, severely ill for six weeks and the end had seemed close at hand for several days. Agnes Murray was born in Ireland, August 22, 1836, and came with her parents to America when she was twelve years old. The Murray home was at Cincinnati, Ohio, for a year or two and thence was transferred to Cedar County, Iowa, where, November 18, 1856, the subject of this sketch was married to T.F. Bobo. Mr. and Mrs. Bobo came to Iowa Center to reside in 1869, in the following year removed to Nevada, lived for a year in the old business district north of the city park, and then erected the dwelling on Oak Street, which continued their home till death took them, Mr. Bobo dying in September of 1882. They reared four sons - John W. and Frank, who are residents of this city, George who is a business man at San Luis Obispo, California, and Charles II, who in young manhood died in his mother's home June 2, 1888. Mrs. Bobo was the third child in a family of six sons and five daughters. The survivors are Edward Murray of Nevada, Mrs. M. Dunahoo of Maxwell, and J.H. Murray of White Rock, South Dakota; and Wm. Murray, Hugh Murray and Mrs. Susan Lloyd, whose homes are in California. In company with her son, Frank, Mrs. Bobo spent nine months of the year 1896 with her kindred in California, and gathered impressions from the visit which shed a great deal of brightness on her subsequent years. She has been a consistent member of the Presbyterian church for more than a quarter of a century, an estimable woman in all of her relations, and , having borne the burdens of life with fortitude, she has laid them down with resignation.
