Description	:	Agnes was the youngest of nine children of John Carmichael and Mary Ann Price who emigrated from Lislea, County Derry in 1847 with her four oldest siblings. During the 1870s her father and oldest brother Andrew built the stone home opposite St. Andrew's Presbyterian, Spencerville, now known as "Carmichael House." In 1877 Agnes married Joseph Raycroft, a neighbouring farmer.
