Description	:	Obituary of Albert Kazmaier Albert Andrew Kazmaier, son of Andrew and Wilhelmina (Damm) Kazmaier was born in Ohio July 16, 1877 and departed this life May 29, 1962 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma. When he was 3 years old the family moved to Great Bend, Kansas, where he received his education. He moved to Wellsville at the age of 16 years and was employed in farming. Read More	Obituary of Albert Kazmaier Albert Andrew Kazmaier, son of Andrew and Wilhelmina (Damm) Kazmaier was born in Ohio July 16, 1877 and departed this life May 29, 1962 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma. When he was 3 years old the family moved to Great Bend, Kansas, where he received his education. He moved to Wellsville at the age of 16 years and was employed in farming. He was married to Maud Gertrude Harrison at Wellsville on January 18, 1899, and they made their home here for many years. Mrs. Kazmaier preceded him in death on July 1, 1947. After her death Mr. Kazmaier continued farming as long as his health permitted. He moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to live with his daughter, Mrs. J.T. Barnard about a year and a half ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J.T. Barnard, of Bartlesville and one son, John of Eudora, Kansas; two half sisters, Mrs. Minnie Luce and Mrs. Lena Jurgenson both of Great Bend, Kansas, a half brother, Willie Kazmaier of Belpre, Kansas; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Coughlin Chapel Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Rev. James Nabors was the officiating minister. J. Linn Holtwich, accompanied by Mrs. Fernleaf Barnett, sang "Abide With Me," and "Beyond the Sunset". Pallbearers were Gene Barnett, Marvin Shoemaker, Donald Fiehler, Chas. Stephens, Gerald Breithaupt and Donald Averill. Burial was in Walnut Creek cemetery.
