Albert C.ark Barr was born in Shelby County July, 2, 1889 and was only 22 years old. Born in a good religious home he was brought up in the Sunday school and church and when about ten years old in a meeting conducted at Wesley Chapel by the Rev. R. M. Dameron he was converted and united with the church. He was a young man of good habits and industrious. He is survived by his mother, three brothers, Marvin, Spencer and Oscar and three sisters Belle, Bessie, and Mrs. Annie Carothers. His untimely death is a great sorrow to his family and many friends. The funeral services were conducted at Bacon Chapel Tuesday Dec. 5 at 11 a. m. by his pastor the Rev. C. O. Ransford. The interment was in the Chapel Cemetery. Albert Barr died at the home of his mother, Mrs. John Barr, northeast of Clarence, near Wesley Chapel, about 7 o'clock Sunday evening. Albert had been in poor health several months, but was thought to be better until a short time ago. Deceased was about 22 years old and a splendid young man. Mrs. Barr, who is a widow, and the family have the sympathy I of many friends in this bereavement. The Shelbina Torchlight (Shelbina, MO), 1911-12-08; Page 6, Column 3 BACON CHAPEL Albert C. Barr, youngest son of Mrs. Mary J. Barr, living west of here, was buried here Tuesday of last week. He died Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, aged 22 years. He was an exemplary young man. He had been sick about three weeks, but was not thought dangerous by his friends. He stood high in the community in which he lived and was loved by everybody. His funeral was preached by his pastor, Rev. C. O. Ransford, of Clarence.
