Read More	COMMUNITY SHOCKED BY DEATH OF ALBERT CUTSOR Shortly after word had been received from Lincoln that Albert Cutsor was able to be released from the hospital, a sudden change took place in his condition and his death resulted late Thursday afternoon. Albert had gone to the Veteran's Hospital at Lincoln on January 24 for medical treatment for high blood pressure. His condition improved somewhat and last week he was told he could return home. Accordingly, his wife drove down after him, being accompanied by her brother, James Robuck and Frank Opella. When they arrived at the hospital and talked with him, he was overcome by the excitement of being able to return home and suffered a stroke, passing away three hours later without regaining consciousness. Albert was born in Polk county, and grew to manhood on the farm. Coming to Silver Creek in the year 1910 he opened a barber shop and later entered the hotel business which he was operating at the time of the World War and which he turned over to his sister Gertie when he joined the army. He spent a little more than a year in the service but was not sent overseas, receiving his honorable discharge at the close of the war. Returning to Silver Creek he continued to operate the hotel for a short time, and then re-engaged in the barber business, part of the time operating his own shop but for many years in partnership with Thomas B. Hutchison, which occupation he followed until about four years ago when he opened a soft drink parlor which he was conducting in partnership with Ben Sokol at the time of his death. His marriage to Miss Dony Robuck took place Feb. 27, 1922. They had five sons and two daughters—Carl, Raymond, Albert, jr., Jimmie, and Jack, and Alice and Delores, all of whom are residing at home. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by two brothers, Will of Columbus, and Charles of Osceola, and four sisters, Sr. M. Cleto of Columbus, Mrs. Nell Thompson and Miss Gertrude Cutsor of Omaha, and Mrs. Kate Munson of Fullerton. Funeral services were held at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek Monday morning, and were conducted by Fr. Leahy, assisted by Fr. Kunkle of Clarks. Attendance at the services was so great that the church could hold only about one-half of those present, and the service at the grave was held up for at least ten minutes to allow time for the large crowd to gather around the grave. Burial was at the new St. Lawrence Cemetery, just west of the old Wooster place, and on the north side of the railroad tracks, on an acre of ground purchased last year from John Stanczyk, this being the first burial in the new cemetery. Following the burial service of the church which was conducted by Fr. Leahy, a military service was held, with a firing squad and bugler here from Central City.
