Description	:	Served with Co. E in the 75th Infantry during the Civil War per list of veteran burials in Nebraska. Civil War Pension documents for Albert Harrold follow. War Department, Adjutant General's Office March 22, 1887, certificate no. 220,278 Albert Harrold, a Private of Company E, 75 Regiment, Indiana Volunteers, was enrolled on the 1 day of August 1862 at Warren?, for three years and is reported on roll from August 20 to October 31, 1862 without remark as to presence or absence. Roll November & December 1863 reports him present. Same report to April 1865. Mustered out with the Company June 8, 1865. Return for July 1863 does not report him absent. Company Returns June, July and August 1863 do not report him absent, sick, or otherwise. Harrold, born November 22, 1885 Declaration of a Widow for Original Pension Boone County, Nebraska On 22 day of May 1900, Manerva Harrold, aged fifty years, a resident of Boone Precinct, County of Boone, State of Nebraska, makes the following declaration. That she is the widow of Albert Harrold who was enrolled at Huntington Co., Indiana on first day of August 1862 as a private in Company E, 75th Regiment Indiana Infantry and was discharged on the eighth day of June 1865 and who died at Boone Precinct, Nebraska on the 20th day of February 1900 of blood poisoning due to effects of disabilities incurred in the above named service. That she was married under the name of Manerva McCrary [sic] to said soldier near Fillmore, Missouri on the 21 day of March 1867 by Rev. Sampson and that she had never been previously married and that the soldier had never been previously married. That the soldier left the following named children under sixteen years of age at the date of his death: William Harrold, born Nov 21, 1884 in Harrison County, Iowa. Signed Manerva Harrold, Albion, Boone County, Nebraska and signed by two witnesses. He married Manerva McCreary 2 March 1867, Fillmore, Andrew County, Missouri.
