Description	:	William Monroe Harrold was born Nov. 22, 1884 at Neola, Iowa, the son of Albert and Minerva Harrold. He lived in Iowa until at the age of seven he moved with his parents to Albion, Nebr. Here he spent the rest of his boyhood. On March 15, 1905, he was united in marriage to Ida Kolden. To this union four children were born: Gertrude, Mrs. Leon Emry of Fullerton, Neb.; 2) Albert of Noblesvile, Indiana; 3) Eva, Mrs. Lester Neal, Noblesville, Indiana; and 4) Leona, Mrs. Russell Neal, Elpaso, Texas. He lived in Iowa until at the age of seven he moved with his parents to Albion, Nebr. Here he spent the rest of his boyhood. On March 15, 1905, he was united in marriage to Ida Kolden. To this union four children were born: Gertrude, Mrs. Leon Emry of Fullerton, Neb.; 2) Albert of Noblesvile, Indiana; 3) Eva, Mrs. Lester Neal, Noblesville, Indiana; and 4) Leona, Mrs. Russell Neal, Elpaso, Texas. Most of his life was spent on farms in Valley and Merrick counties in Nebraska, but in 1938 he moved with his family to Indiana. They resided there until this spring when they moved to Maryville, MO. Saturday, April 24, he was critically injured in an accident with a runaway team. He was rushed to St. Francis hospital at Maryville where he passed away Tuesday, April 27. He is survived by his wife, his four children, seven grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Reno and Mrs. Minnie Duncan both of Snyder, Col., and Mrs. Edith Clipston, of Albion, Nebr., and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. He was a devoted husband and father, and his first thought was always of his family and home. He was a true Christian in his heart and his dealings with his followmen. The remains were brought to Albion and funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Herse Funeral Parlor, conducted by Rev. L. N. Blough. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. His body was disinterred and moved to Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville, Indiana with his wife.
